I love Thanksgiving; I think any excuse to think about what we're thankful for is a good thing.
This year, I am thankful for my odd-but-wonderful modern family. This thanksgiving, my ex-husband came to my parents' for dinner, with his wife (one of my best friends) and his parents (my second child's surrogate extra set of grandparents). And my baby's daddy (you probably thought that was a term reserved for the ghetto, huh) and the rest of our family -- some blood-related, some not.
It may not be "normal" but I wouldn't want it any other way!
