I
am SO pleased to report that after eight interviews and countless phone
calls/emails this week, I think I have found a nanny! I see sanity in
my near future, hallelujah. I feel like I should do a rain dance or
something.
Seven girls came by yesterday for interviews, and it was altogether interesting and educational. Has it really been that
long since I was a college student? Was I ever actually that young? I
asked whether one of the girls had any questions about the job or our
family. She wanted to know, are we religious? I replied that I am
half-Christian and half-Jewish, so we celebrate pretty much all of the
holidays. Oh! she said. Jews are really smart, huh!?
:) She was very sweet, but she wasn't the nanny I picked.
