I have a very small house, and the girls share a bedroom. Joy has a tall loft bed, and Clara's crib is tucked beneath it. They love each other so much, and they do fine sharing a room... until bedtime. We are not getting any sleep, and I don't know how much longer I can take it! They wake each other up all night long. Clara goes to bed early, and when Joy goes to bed, she wakes Clara up. Once Clara is up, it takes me another hour to get her down. When I put her down, it wakes Joy up. Joy gets up during the night to go to the bathroom and that wakes Clara up. It takes me another hour or two to get Clara down... and so on All.Night.Long. I am seriously losing it - I cried at the grocery store this week. Yes, it was partly because I didn't have enough money and they had to put some of my groceries back (!) but if I just wasn't so sleep deprived I know I could handle this kind of thing with slightly more aplomb!
I am just venting; I'm pretty sure I'll find a good solution for this someday. And if not... you know, someday they'll move out of the house and then I'm pretty sure I'll get some sleep. Unless they want to live here with their own children. You don't think they will, do you?
