The Heritage Flight Museum is pleased to announce the support of Bergen & Company Embroidery Works in their continued fundraising efforts. Bergen is providing an Online Store where fans of the Museum could order their own clothing with the Museum logo. In addition to hosting the site and managing sales and orders, a donation for each use of the logo will be given to the Museum. Online ordering is available by going to the Museum website, which will link visitors to the Bergen online store.

“We are grateful to our good friends at Bergen, for providing this service to the Museum. We have long wanted to make logoed clothing available, but haven’t been able to take on the costs and management involved with maintaining a store. We get a lot of requests for HFM ‘gear’ and now we can meet those requests,” said HFM Program Director, Kate Simmons.

Founded in 1996 by Maj. General William Anders (Apollo 8 astronaut), the Heritage Flight Museum is a non-profit, 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the preservation and flying of historic military aircraft. The Museum is planning a grand re-opening for Saturday, January 17, 2009 at its new facility on Mitchell Way at the Bellingham Airport.

Museum visitors are welcome to get an up-close look at the collection of memorabilia and artifacts, and the small selection of flying World War II and Korean War aircraft currently housed at Bellingham, which include a P-51 Mustang, Douglas Skyraider, North American T-6, Boeing Stearman, and L-13 Grasshopper.
