Missoula Children’s Theatre has visited the Mount Baker Theatre for 10 years. The concept is that two young drama teachers and emerging actors travel around the country in a little red truck loaded down with props, scenery, and a few personal belongings.

The Tour Directors work with youth of all ages and socio-economic backgrounds from around the globe in venues of all different sizes. They teach stage movement, blocking, auditioning skills, vocal and body warm-ups.

The excellence of these productions along with our unique and acclaimed teaching methods result in the successful fulfillment of MCT’s mission: The development of life skills in children through participation in the performing arts.

You can find out more about MCT's nearly 40-year history online by visiting Missoula Children’s Theatre.

The MCT Tour Actor/Directors will conduct rehearsals throughout the week from 10:00am to 2:30pm each day. Students, ages 1st grade through 12th grade are encouraged to audition. Some of the cast members will be asked to stay for a rehearsal immediately following the audition. As with all MCT auditions no advance preparation is necessary.

The cost of the week-long camp is $185 which includes two complimentary tickets to final Saturday performances and a free camp T-shirt.
